Contemplative Learning in a Frenzied Culture
Description: "We have grown so used to our distractions that we have nearly forgotten what leisure is, that divine and gratuitous part of human existence that ennobles life and causes us to pause and reflect, pray and praise, fast as well as feast." Join Heatherly Sylvia for six weeks of discussion based on The Age of Martha: A Call to Contemplative Learning in a Frenzied Culture. Discussions will focus on discussing the assigned chapter using classical tools and then applying what we've read and discussed in practical ways to our too-busy lives. Participants will need a copy of the book (e-book or paperback).
Start Date: 9/11/2025
